Gandys That Came to
America
- The trip across the Atlantic Ocean was long and difficult. But the Gandys came to America full of hope for a better life. The Gandys came from England: Cheshire, and Exeter. Their heritage was of prominent yeomen who had acquired property with each generation, and acquired wealth from their surplus crops.
The Gandys in Cheshire had strong religious beliefs as Quakers.
