Daniel Gandy had a son Malcolm C.(Mac)and Mac had a son Malcolm Jr.(Boss). The elder Malcolm was born in Morgan Co., Alabama 22 Dec. 1828.
He married his first cousin Mary Gandy(a daughter of his uncle Alfred Gandy). He died before 4 April 1888 in Lavaco County, Tx.while digging a well, I was told. He is buried near some large cypress trees at the old home place. His wife died a short time later and is buried next to him.The Gandy cemetery is only a short distance from where they are buried.(I was told this by a family member on a visit there.)

Probate records for this family were filed 4 April 1888 by J.S. Freeman. Others filed 11 June 1892- Jan. 1894. Malcolm Sr. had three children: Francis m. J. S. Freeman; Abigal m.? Burris; and Malcolm Thomas Gandy Jr. (Boss) b. 14 June 1866 d. 27 Feb. 1910? Gravestone hard to read the year he died.Boss married Allica Jackson. On the 1910 census in Wharton Co. Tx., Alice Gandy is listed with children:Sandy 20, Alonzo 17, Roy 14, and John 3; m.

One record states that Malcolm Jr. married Alice Gordy. Second, Nathan Gandy also had a Malcolm who would have been born @ 1912. He m. Ann ?. He worked in the Oil Fields as a roughneck.
